Movie Info: Kerala Cafe is a Malayalam anthology film produced by Renjith and directed by a team of 10 directors including Lal Jose, Shaji Kailas, Anwar Rasheed, Shyamaprasad, B. Unnikrishnan, Revathy, Anjali Menon, M. Padmakumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and Uday Ananthan. This is for the first time in the history of malayalam cinema one film is conceived by a team of 10 directors. 10 cinematographers, musicians, editors, art directors and almost all the top Malayalam film actors excluding Mohanlal and Jayaram are joining this unique venture. The cast includes Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Prithviraj,Sreenivasan, Rahman, Anoop Menon, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jayasurya, Salim Kumar, Jyothirmayi, Rima Kallingal, Nithya Menon and Dhanya Mary Varghese.

Backwater Media & Entertainment Private Limited is distributing the film. The film was released on 29 October 2009.

Movie Info: Paleri Manikyam : Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Katha is a 2009 Malayalam film by Renjith starring Mammootty and Mythili. It is based on a Malayalam novel by T. P. Rajeevan with the same name. Mammooty plays three characters in the film. The film introduced Mythili to the Malayalam film industry. Director Renjith introduced fifty Malayalam drama artists through this film.This film won Kerala State Film Award for Best Film. Mammootty won his fifth Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for playing three roles Ahmed Haji, Haridas Ahmed and Khalid Ahmed in this movie. Shweta Menon also won her first Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in this movie.
